Preservative FREE and crafted in small batches in the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula, this moisturiser combines the finest, certified organic oils—Apricot Kernel, Sunflower, Jojoba, and Macadamia Nut—to deeply nourish and protect your skin.

Enriched with natural vitamin E, this formulation is pH-balanced and alcohol-free, designed to hydrate and protect even the most sensitive skin. These moisturisers are scented with pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils for an uplifting aroma, free from synthetic fragrances and fixatives.

Note that there are no animal by-products in the ingredients themselves, or in the processing of any of these ingredients, making these creams VEGAN friendly as well!

COMPLETE INGREDIENT LISTING:

Water

Water forms the base of any emulsion moisturiser - this is what separates a cream (water & oil) from a balm (oil only). Your skin can only absorb a small amount of oil at any one time. A water and oil emulsion helps the cream spread and penetrate into the skin, delivering the required amount of moisturising oils evenly and leaving your skin feeling supple but not overtly oily.

Certified Organic Apricot Kernel Oil

  • Composition: Rich in vitamins A, C, and E, as well as oleic and linoleic acids, which help keep skin soft and supple.
  • Texture and Absorption: A lightweight oil, it absorbs relatively quickly and leaves a smooth, non-greasy finish.
  • Moisturising: Known for its gentle moisturizing properties, it’s particularly good for sensitive and dry skin, offering hydration without heaviness.
  • Benefits: It’s soothing, mildly anti-inflammatory, and suitable for delicate areas, making it great for sensitive skin or around the eyes.
  • Best For: Sensitive, dry, or mature skin, as well as anyone looking for a gentle, non-irritating oil that won’t clog pores.

Certified Organic Sunflower Oil

  • Composition: High in linoleic acid, vitamin E, and other antioxidants, which protect the skin barrier and combat free radicals.
  • Texture and Absorption: Slightly heavier than apricot kernel oil, sunflower oil still absorbs well and leaves a silky, slightly more substantial feel.
  • Moisturising: It’s effective in locking in moisture, especially when applied to damp skin. Its high linoleic acid content is ideal for restoring the skin barrier.
  • Benefits: Sunflower oil is anti-inflammatory and non-comedogenic, making it safe for acne-prone skin, and it has a gentle, soothing effect for those with sensitive skin.
  • Best For: Normal to dry skin, and especially beneficial for those with compromised skin barriers or conditions like eczema due to its barrier-strengthening properties.

Certified Organic Jojoba Oil

  • Composition: Technically a liquid wax, jojoba oil closely resembles the skin’s natural sebum, making it highly compatible with most skin types.
  • Texture and Absorption: Lightweight, non-greasy, and fast-absorbing, it works well, even for oily and acne-prone skin.
  • Moisturising: Jojoba oil forms a breathable barrier on the skin, locking in moisture without clogging pores.
  • Benefits: It’s rich in vitamins E and B-complex and has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, making it excellent for soothing sensitive, irritated, or acne-prone skin.
  • Best For: All skin types, especially oily, acne-prone, or sensitive skin due to its balancing and lightweight nature.

Certified Organic Macadamia Nut Oil

  • Composition: Rich in palmitoleic acid, an omega-7 fatty acid that’s naturally found in human skin but diminishes with age.
  • Texture and Absorption: Slightly richer than jojoba oil, it has a luxurious, creamy feel and penetrates deeply into the skin, making it a more emollient option.
  • Moisturising: Excellent for restoring moisture, especially to dry or mature skin. It provides deep hydration, softening the skin without leaving a heavy residue.
  • Benefits: Contains oleic acid and antioxidants, which are beneficial for skin repair and rejuvenation, making it especially effective for mature, dry, or sun-damaged skin.
  • Best For: Dry, mature, or aging skin, or for anyone needing deeper hydration and nourishment.

Emulsifying Wax (Vegetable)

An emulsifier is required for any oil-in-water moisturiser, to allow the water and the oil to blend and remain stable. We choose to use the more natural olive derived version (Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate ). It is derived from upcycled olive oil fatty acids, wheat and oat proteins. It effectively helps to emulsify and thicken a formulation, and the supplier has listed the following other benefts: it may help to repair skin barrier, can aid in increasing skin penetration, moisturisation and hydration and is microbiome friendly!

Certified Organic Glycerine

Palm FREE, our Certified Organic glycerine is derived from Flaxseeds that have been farmed organically. It is a by-product of the soap-making process, which separates the glycerine from the fatty acids in the whole oil.

Glycerine acts as a humectant (moisture locking active), an ingredient that prevents water loss from the product and part of a natural preservation strategy (reducing the level of free water in a product helps to make the product less able to support microbial growth).

Natural Vitamin E (d-alpha-tocopherol)

Natural vitamin E contains alpha-tocopherol exclusively in an active form. The one in this moisturiser contains a minmum of 87% d-alpha-tocopherol and a minium activity of 1300IU. It is also manufactured using non-animal based raw materials, making it vegan friendly.

Synthetic vitamin E (sometimes referred to as dl-alpha-tocopherol) contains both active and inactive forms of alpha-tocopherol.
Cheaper forms of natural vitamin E may also contain other types of tocopherols, such as beta-tocopherol, delta-tocopherol, and gamma-tocopherol which are not bioavailable for humans and therefore deliver much lower antioxidant benefits.

Pure Essential Oils

We use various combinations of 100% pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils to scent our moisturisers (note that our 60ml moisturiser for tattoo care is completely fragrance free with no essential oils).

Pure essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts, meticulously distilled or cold-pressed from leaves, flowers, stems, bark, or roots. Each drop captures the potent essence of the plant, delivering natural aromatic compounds. Unlike synthetic fragrances, which mimic scents using artificial ingredients, pure essential oils provide an authentic aroma and retain the plant’s beneficial properties.

Our essential oils are completely unadulterated—no fillers, fixatives, or chemical additives. This ensures you receive only the genuine, natural essence of the plant, offering a safe and pure experience that’s gentle on the skin and the senses.

You can tell an essential oil because, while you will be able to smell it strongly when you first put it on, the scent dissipates very quickly. This means it is unlikely to cause any irritation for people with sensitivities and also it won't interfere with any perfume you may choose to wear. Commercial perfumes and fragrances use chemical fixatives to make their scents last.

Citric Acid

There is a very small amout of citric acid in the formula to ensure it has a slightly acidic PH between 4.5 and 5.5, to align with the natural acid mantle of your skin. This acidity keeps harmful bacteria and pollutants at bay, while supporting the skin’s natural microbiome, which helps prevent infections and inflammation. The acid mantle also aids in retaining moisture, keeping skin hydrated and resilient. A balanced, slightly acidic pH is essential for healthy, glowing skin and helps protect it from environmental stressors.
